Film screening of Angela Davis and the Soledad Brothers. The film focuses on the organizing struggles to free the Soledad Brothers, George Jackson, Fleeta Drumgo, and John Clutchette, the harsh and inhuman conditions of Soledad prison, and the ideological community conversations taking place as a result.
During the discussion, we want to tie the movie back to the conditions happening locally at the Fulton County Jail. Pushing people towards organizing for justice within the city.
